Cho Oyu boots have a leather toecap and outer rear piece, the main boot is made of burel which give them a very distinctive look. Handmade production with soles made out of recycled car tire/tyre rubber. Can be used both on more casual occasions and in more formal situations. Burel is a Portuguese handmade fabric made entirely of wool and produced in the mountains. Its flexibility, high strength and robustness leads it to withstand intensive use without changing colour and shape, making it ideal for footwear and perfect for achieving a unique comfort. Burel is also water-resistant and has very good thermal insulation properties. These boots are manufactured under the Goodyear Welt Technic: they are water-resistant, they can be resoled and the ventilation is superior over other shoes' construction.
